I love the mauve color of these sheets! It is such a soft pink/purple shade. And, these sheets really are so soft. I have been working on creating the bed of my dreams, and these sheets are perfect! The first thing I noticed about this sheet set before even opening the package was how heavy they were! I wasn't sure if this was a good or a bad sign. Perhaps they would be too thick and hot? But, nooooooo. These sheets are very soft and comfortable. I would give them 4-1/2 stars if that was possible, only because of the wrinkling. But I've never encountered all-cotton sheets that didn't do the same, so they're worthy of staying in my house!
